LESS Tutorial
Section titled “LESS Tutorial”LESS (Leaner Style Sheets) is a powerful CSS pre-processor that enhances your web styling workflow. It extends standard CSS with dynamic features such as variables, mixins, functions, and nesting. These features allow you to write more maintainable, themable, and reusable stylesheets. The LESS code you write is then compiled into standard CSS that all modern browsers can understand.
Audience
Section titled “Audience”This tutorial is designed for web developers, students, and anyone interested in improving their CSS practices. Whether you’re building simple websites, complex web applications, or personal blogs, LESS can help you write cleaner and more organized styles.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”To make the most of this tutorial, you should have a basic understanding of:
- HTML structure and semantics.
- Core CSS concepts (selectors, properties, values).
- Using a code editor (e.g., VS Code, Sublime Text, or other modern editors).
- Basic file and directory management on your computer.
- Navigating the web using modern browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
